Siege Of Ennis 27th March 2015

As part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge this year, we learned how to do the 'Siege of Ennis'. We had so much fun learning it and on the Friday of our Easter holidays, the whole school went out onto our new pitch and we performed the dance together. Below is a video of us doing the dance. We were partnered up with Ms Murrihy's 5th class and they took great care of us on the day! Thanks guys.

Hope you all enjoy the video!

World Book Day 2015:

This year Senior Infants took part in World Book Day.

The children dressed up as a character from their favourite book. They brought their favourite book to school with them and Ms Healy gave them the opportunity to read their books during the day.

The class really enjoyed the day and had lots of fun talking about their books and costumes.

After break, Ms Moran, Mrs Cooney and Mrs Dunne, came to visit us and gave us all hot chocolate!! Ms Healy then read some of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to the class. This was a real treat!

We love books and we love to read in our classroom!
